Vision and Values

Service - Stewardship - Success

Creating a better future for ourselves and all of God’s creation

Bulford St Leonard’s (BSL) is a kind and welcoming community where everyone is supported and encouraged to achieve their own individual successes.

Our vision and ethos is underpinned by the following quote from Peter 4:10

‘Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.’

As an inclusive, Christian school, both adults and children are valued and strong relationships are built on trust and respect.

For our school, the value of service is at the heart of all we do and with the majority of our parents currently serving in the Armed Forces it is also a strong value within the lives of our families. Children are encouraged to show service to one another and to adults and can identify when this is happening – they know how to live this and what it looks like in their daily lives.

We understand that we are all stewards of God’s creation and children are encouraged and supported to look after the world we live in. It is also a part of our school routine to make sure that we are looking after ourselves with a strong emphasis through the curriculum on spirituality and mental health.

Success is encouraged and celebrated in our school. We know that success for each person will look different and we understand that to be successful we need to work hard and have the resilience to keep going even when things get tricky. We support each in both our academic and personal success and are happy to see others doing well.

We work closely with all our Acorn Education Trust family of schools to enrich the primary curriculum and to create opportunities for an educationally seamless journey from 3 to 18 years of age.
