Teaching Assistant and Nursery Teaching Assistant x 2 posts  

Teaching Assistant (25 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, Grade D, point 14 - 17, £8.70 - £9.21 per hour).   

Working hours 9.00am – 3.00pm, Mon – Fri

Nursery Teaching Assistant (10 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, Grade D, point 14 - 17, £8.70 - £9.21 per hour)

Working hours 1.00pm – 3.00pm, Mon - Fri

We are seeking to appoint a motivated, committed and enthusiastic teaching assistant and nursery teaching assistant. You will be working with an excellent team of teachers and teaching assistants.  We are looking for team players, who are flexible and positive at all times.  It would be an advantage if you were already familiar with the primary school curriculum and have worked in a primary school setting.  But, most of all we are seeking to appoint someone who understands how to create the magic that engages our young children as they journey through their education at our school.

Applicants should have at least a level 2 qualification in English and maths and preferably a level 3 qualification in working with children or young people.

Ideally we are looking for someone who:-

  •   Has recent experience in EYFS/KS1
  •   Has excellent behaviour management skills
  •  Is caring, inspirational and passionate about making learning fun and exciting both indoors and out
  •  Is dedicated to our Church School values and ethos
  •  Is self-motivated, reliable and has a good sense of humour
  • Can make a contribution to the wider school community
