Higher Level Teaching Assistant - Art Specialist

Start date:                    5th November 2018, or as soon as possible thereafter     

Salary:                         Grade H, £11.98 - £13.20 per hour

Hours of work:             25 hours per week

Bulford St Leonard’s Primary School are looking to appoint a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (H.L.T.A.) to work as part of our dedicated support staff team.   We are looking for somebody with commitment, energy and drive to work closely with staff to provide positive learning experiences for all our pupils.

We expect the successful candidate to:

  • Be able to support in the delivery of high-quality learning experiences for all pupils

  • Support the delivery of high quality Art and Display across the whole school

  • Have high expectations of learning and behaviour and inspire and motivate our children

  • Be supportive, nurturing and understanding with high expectations

  • Seek to make learning exciting and a positive experience

  • Communicate well with parents, carers and members of staff, as well as pupils

  • Demonstrate good communication skills both orally and written

  • Work well as part of a team

  • Be willing to contribute to school life outside of the classroom

Wrap Around Care Leader (After School Club)

Salary: Grade D, £9.16 - £9.68 per hour

Hours of work: 15 hours per week (3.00pm – 6.00pm Mon – Fri term time only)

Contract Term: Permanent

Bulford St Leonard’s Primary School are looking to appoint a Wrap Around Care leader to run our after-school child care.

Successful applicants will be well organised, have strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to developing the provision and experience for the children over time. Enthusiasm and ability to relate to children are essential.
