Hours of work: 25 hours per week over 5 days

Bulford St Leonard’s Primary School are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to their dedicated team of teachers and support staff.
Candidates need to be flexible in their approach to supporting children’s needs in the classroom, stay calm under pressure and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills with children and adults. They need to be able to gain the confidence of children who may be behaviourally challenging or socially withdrawn and have a clear understanding of the complex role necessary to support children with additional needs.
A good general standard of education and GCSE passes in Maths and English (A-C) are essential to this role, along with experience of working with children of primary school age – leading small groups and working as part of a team.
You will need to have excellent time management and organisational skills and be able to show creativity and endless positivity alongside the teacher and other staff. We would also expect you to be able to demonstrate an ongoing to commitment to professional development.
