Extreme reading this summer

Do you love reading? If so then we want to hear from you over the summer holiday!

We are inviting all our pupils and their parents to take part in the Salisbury Plain Academies extreme reading challenge.

Books don’t need electricity and you can read them anywhere and everywhere! We would like everyone to think about different, exciting, fun and safe places where you can enjoy a book.

It could be on the beach, in your tent on your camping holiday, or on the slide in your local playground; wherever you choose we’d like you to tell your parents/carers your idea and ask them to take a photo.

Then write a short caption about your photo and and get a parent / carer to email it, along with your name and information about where the photo was taken, to your school. See email addresses below.

We will be putting all the photos we receive on our Facebook page.

The competition runs from July 21 to Sept 1. The most creative photo will win.

Good luck and have fun extreme reading!
